Our mission motivates our work
Mission Statement
In 2007 the ICT Innovation and Evaluation Center of DB Systel GmbH started an international project to define and develop a standardized interface for telematics applications. The main ideas are fixed in the mission statement.
- Facilitate the use of telematics services and to increase the rage of operation as well as application.
- The interface has to be royalty-free and interoperable.
- It should support multi-vendor strategies and has to provide a future-proof communication framework.
- The result should be an open industrial standard with a high potential for the futue.
